Max Farming Stats is list of Builds for Unnamed Space Idle that will help to maximize specific stat bonuses for farming.

Sometimes, it's possible to completely maximize two or more stats simultaneously (Like Synth + Warp) - especially when more module slots and links are unlocked.

Combat[edit | edit source]

Combat build layout is very flexible, since it requires adjustment to the specific enemies. For specific stages it's better to find Combat Build for the specific Sector or enemy.

V-Device
Battle Shard can be placed anywhere, but red slot would be the best one for higher Fire Rate.
Damage Target Shard should be placed to properly counter current enemies.
Shard Link Can be used to boost Damage from the blue slot if Damage Target Shard isnt there or get additional damage type against specific enemies.
Power Shard in pink slot and Flex Shard in blue can help if uncapped reactor(Base 4 upgrade) is unlocked

Reactor should prioritize Boost Damage and Boost Max Shields

Modules
Offense Efficiency and Defense Efficiency are must have, and Combat Enhancer if you have it too.
Power Generator can help with a bit extra reactor boost for damage stats, and if uncapped reactor(Base 4 upgrade) is unlocked, Extra Battery will also help.
Laser Boost Automator, Shield Boost Automator, Volley Automator can be used as well if they are required with the current Ship layout.

Salvage[edit | edit source]

Salvage Build layout requires most of the systems tuned to the Salvage output in order to be most efficient. Although it can be implemented even with skipping some parts of the build and still be viable, especially straight after Prestige or Retrofit, when you just need to upgrade Core equipment a bit.

V-Device
Salvage Shard goes into the Pink slot
Compute Shard should be in the Orange slot for additional Salvage Amount Multiplier
Battle Shard can be placed anywhere, but red slot would be the best one for higher Range.
Shard Link Can should be used to boost Battle Shard pink Salvage Amount multiplier ability, so it links Battle Shard to a pink node
Power Shard in pink slot and Flex Shard in blue can help if uncapped reactor(Base 4 upgrade) is unlocked Manifest Shard linked to pink.

Utility Cores
Resource Refinery should be one of the cores.

Reactor should prioritize Boost Salvage.

Modules
Salvage Recovery Efficiency is must have, Salvage Auto Collector is good if afk farming.
Power Generator can help with a bit extra reactor boost for damage stats and Boost Salvage, and if uncapped reactor(Base 4 upgrade) is unlocked, Extra Battery will also help.
Energy Void Auto Collector will be useful if afk farming.
Since salvage gain scales based on sector, Offense Efficiency and Defense Efficiency will help with the combat. Laser Boost Automator, Shield Boost Automator, Volley Automator can be used as well if they are required with the current Ship layout. Void Beacon or Void Lure might help with additional enemies and faster Salvage gain from kills, but most of the time floating salvage will have higher yield.

When farming for salvage manually it's better to avoid Salvage and Void auto collector. Instead collect Salvage that is floating close to the bottom of the screen manually and wait for the Energy Void boost to appear. Once picked up it will boost salvage gain and now it is time to pick up all the floating Salvage for extra boost.

Logistics Manager with focus on 3 Salvage skills (Proficient Salvaging, Coordinated Resource Recovery, Compute Recovery Algorithms)
Reconstruction Specialist with focus on the Resource Procurement skill.

Compute[edit | edit source]

Compute Build layout requires most of the systems tuned to the Compute output in order to be most efficient, but it can be merged with Synth layout to get benefits of both.

V-Device
Compute Shard goes into the Blue slot for additional Compute Levels Gained.
Battle Shard should have Orange Slot bonus for extra Compute Speed.
Energy Void Auto Collector will be useful if afk farming.
Shard Link isn't necessary, but can be used to provide required bonuses if shards are placed elsewhere.
Power Shard in pink slot and Flex Shard in blue can help if uncapped reactor(Base 4 upgrade) is unlocked

Utility Cores
Advanced Computer Lab should be one of the cores.

Reactor should prioritize Boost Compute.

Modules
Compute Speed Booster is a must have and so is Compute Levels Booster.
Energy Void Auto Collector will be useful if afk farming.
Power Generator can help with a bit extra reactor boost for Boost Compute, and if uncapped reactor(Base 4 upgrade) is unlocked, Extra Battery will also help.

Crew
Cyber Specialist with focus on 4 Compute skills (Speedy Computation, Coordinated Computing, Next Level Math, Salvage Redirection)
Industrial Engineer with focus on 2 Compute skills (Industrious Computing, Compute Enjoyer)

Research[edit | edit source]

Research Build layout requires most of the systems tuned to the Research output in order to be most efficient, also its preferable to use it right before Prestige when player is the strongest, can take out toughest enemies fast and have levelled up research crew.

Also it takes a while with cycling all the available Research. If doing Unbound Research it's better to start with the Unbound Research Gain to use that boost for other research areas later.

V-Device
If research shard's tier is lower than 6, it can sit in any of the slots, just make sure it has the required focused research bonus
If Research Shard is tier 6, it must be in or linked to green for Focused Research bonus.
Flex Shard should be in or linked to red slot for Research bonus. If shard link isn't unlocked, for material research don't put Flex Shard in red, instead put Research Shard in red and ignore Flex Shard.
Power Shard in pink slot and Flex Shard in blue can help if uncapped reactor(Base 4 upgrade) is unlocked

Utility Cores
Research Station should be one of the cores.

Reactor should prioritize Boost Research. Boost Max Shield and especially Boost Max Damage should help as well, since you will need to destroy enemies to get research points.

Modules
Research Enhancer is must have.
Defense and Offense Efficency should help with taking out enemies
Energy Void Auto Collector will allow to boost research when afk farming with Energy void boosts
Power Generator can help with a bit extra reactor boost for Boost Compute, and if uncapped reactor(Base 4 upgrade) is unlocked, Extra Battery will also help.
Void Beacon or Void Lure will help to increase defeated enemies per minute when afk farming.

Crew
Energy Technician with focus on 2 Research skills (Tech Know How, Research Enjoyer)
Researcher with focus on 5 Research skills (Experienced Researcher, Coordinated Research, Material Research Specialist, Energy Research Specialist, Observational Research Specialist)

Synth[edit | edit source]

Synth Build layout requires most of the systems tuned to the Synth output in order to be most efficient, but it can be merged with Compute layout to get benefits of both. Both of them also benefit from after-prestige implementation to build up for the run.

V-Device
Synth Shard must be in the red slot for synth speed bonus.
Flex Shard should be in the orange slot for extra synth speed bonus.
Shard Link isn't necessary, but can be used to provide required bonuses if shards are placed elsewhere.
Power Shard in pink slot and Flex Shard in blue can help if uncapped reactor(Base 4 upgrade) is unlocked

Utility Cores
Advanced Synth Station should be one of the cores.
Veil Piercer with "Synth Siphoning" node if you can upgrade it to lv10 for more effective synth speed.

Reactor should prioritize Boost Synth Speed.

Modules
Power Generator can help with a bit extra reactor boost for Boost Synth, and if uncapped reactor(Base 4 upgrade) is unlocked, Extra Battery will also help.

Crew
Cyber Specialist with focus on 2 Synth skills (Mathematical Materials, Synth Enjoyer). Take only 10 points of the first skill to unlock Synth skills and focus on Ingenuity.
Materials Engineer with focus on 4 Synth skills (Steady Hand, Coordinated Synthing, Masterful Synthing, Warp Core Siphoning) take only Ingenuity in order for bottom skills to work.

Reactor/Void Matter/Power[edit | edit source]

Reactor Build layout requires most of the systems tuned to the Reactor and its fuel output in order to be most efficient.

When building for Reactor upgrades top priority should be Max Void Power, then Void Power Generation and afterwards all other stats. That is because most Reactor upgrades are locked behind the cap, and expanding it should be your priority when upgrading the generator.

For the Generator upgrade go for the following order:

  1. Power Per Void Matter/Sec - it will increase Void Power generation efficiency per Void Matter. Not only it will improve Void Power per Void Matter Ratio, but also increase VP generation rate.
  2. Max Void Matter Conversion - will allow to put more Void Matter per cycle in the Reactor. It's close to power per void matter if you have enough Void Matter production rate.
  3. Void Matter Conversion Time - Increase Void Power generation efficiency by prolonging the time each cycle of Void Matter lasts, effectively lowering the amount of Void Matter per Void Power. Does not increase VP generation rate.

V-Device
Power Shard must be in Pink slot to boost Void Power Generation and Max.
Flex Shard should be in the Blue slot for Void Power Generation.
Compute Shard in the Red slot will help with Void Matter drop rate.
Shard Link should boost Power Shard Void Matter Conversion time by linking Pink and Orange slots.

Utility Cores
Enhanced Reactor should be one of the cores. Veil Piercer with "Resource Siphoning" node if you can upgrade it to lv10 for more Void Matter.

Modules
Extra Battery for increasing Max Void Power Cap.
Power Generator for more Void Power Generation.
Void Matter Recovery Efficiency and Energy Void Auto Collector for extra Void Matter and insane reactor boost on Energy Void pickup.
Void Beacon or Void Lure will help to increase defeated enemies per minute when afk farming for extra Void Matter.
Combat modules to take out enemies easier and faster for extra Void Matter farm.

Crew
Energy Technician with focus on 4 Reactor skills (Reactor Maintenance, Coordinated Power, Reactor Focus, Base Assisted Reactor)
Materials Engineer with focus on 2 Reactor skill (Improved Reactor Materials, Reactor Enjoyer)

Shard Drop[edit | edit source]

Shard Drop Build layout is actually pretty simple and can be easily switched in for the areas where some shards have to be farmed.

V-Device
Flex Shard should be in the Pink slot for Shard Drop rate.
Shard Link isn't necessary but can be used to enable Flex Shard bonus if its in another slot.
Manifest Shard should be in the blue slot for more Shard Drop Amount.

Utility Cores
Resource Refinery should be one of the cores.

Modules
Void Shard Sensor for increasing Shard Drop Rate.
Void Beacon or Void Lure for afk farming allowing enemy waves to spawn faster.
Combat modules to take out enemies easier and faster for extra Void Matter farm.

Crew
Xeno Phenomenologist with focus on 2 Shard skills (Coordinated Shard Detection, Creative Shard Utilization)

Warp[edit | edit source]

Warp Core Charge Build layout is a minimalistic build to increase charge speed of Warp Cores and gain more Essence per warp.

V-Device
Warp Shard should be in the Orange slot for Warp Core Charge Speed. If Warp Shard is tier 7 or above it should also be linked to Green for more essence.
Flex Shard should be in the Green slot for Warp Core Charge Speed.
Shard Link for Flex Shard isn't necessary but can be used to enable bonuses if shards are in another slots.
Manifest Shard should be linked to Orange for more essence.

Utility Cores
Veil Piercer with "Warp Siphoning" node if you can upgrade it to lv30 for faster effective Warp Core Charge Speed.

Modules
Warp Stabilizer for Warp Core Charge Speed.
Warp Essence Harvester for more essence.

Crew
Researcher with focus on 1 Warp skill (Warp Study)
Xeno Phenomenologist with focus on 2 Warp skills (Warp Understanding for Warp Core Charge Speed and Warp Harvesting for extra Warp Essense Gain)
