Reactor is one of the systems in Unnamed Space Idle, unlocked upon reaching sector 5. Here, players can convert Void Matter into power, which can then boost various systems.

Void Power Generation[edit | edit source]

Power Boosts[edit | edit source]

Power Boosts increase the efficiency of several systems by draining void power. These boosts wil last until you turn them off or you run out of void power to sustain them.

Depending on your Max Concurrent Boosts stat, having multiple boosts active can multiply the drain on all power boosts.

Reactor Boost Levels[edit | edit source]

After getting the "Reactor Boost Levels" upgrade from Base 1, Void Power can be spent to increase the maximum level of power boosts where higher boost levels are stronger but also drain more Void Power. The level to run can be adjusted for each power boost.

Void Power drain doubles every level. Cost to increase max level multiplies by 1.4 per level, except for Boost Engine, which multiplies by 10000 per level instead. Boost Engine caps at level 12.

Void power cost to upgrade and drain scaling per level can be reduced with Power Hungry challenge completions.

Uncapped Power Boosts[edit | edit source]

Getting the "Uncapped Power Boosts" upgrade from Base 4 will fix max level of all power boosts(except boost engine) to level 999 and cannot be improved further. This removes the need to buy max level increases for power boosts.

This upgrade also unlocks milestones for bonus scalings. Milestones are self multiplicative and getting a new milestone will replace part of the old one. For example, if you have 1e60 Max Void Power, level 500 to 600 have x1.01 per level and levels above 600 have x1.02.

Overdrives[edit | edit source]

After Reinforcing once then reaching sector 83, reactor can be upgraded to massive reactor.

Upgrading to massive reactor multiplies Max Void Power by 1.00e7x and automatically sustains all 7 power boosts at max level(lv12 engine, lv999 rest, 1e90 Max Void Power) without draining any Void Power.

Reactor can now charge up various overdrives, giving 3 effects:

  • An active charge, which can be stored for up to 5 charges each overdrive, and when used give a large temporary boost. Using multiple charges increases the duration but not the effect.
  • A small passive effect that is self-additive.
  • Every 100 passives causes the overdrive to tier up, giving a tier bonus, any new passive effect gotton is 10x as powerful, but that overdrive also takes 10 times as long to charge.

At base charge speed and tier 0, each overdrive takes 6 minutes to charge. Overdrive charge speed is unaffected by Void Power Generation, instead Void Power can be spent to upgrade overdrives' charging speed, with each having a base cost of 1.00e111 Void Power and cost multiplying by 1.3 every level. Each level multiplies charge speed by 1.02.
