Resources
Resources are the players currency in Unnamed Space Idle. They get dropped by defeating enemies or otherwise through combat, and can be either actively spent on upgrades, or passively used by different systems.
Basic Resources[edit | edit source]
Salvage[edit | edit source]
Salvage is the players main resources in the game. It is used to upgrade cores, boost compute speed, or increase the Crew XP Multiplier. Every time an enemy is defeated, players will gain Salvage. Higher sectors will have a higher base Salvage amount, which can be seen when hovering over the sector progress bar.
System | Type | Note |
---|---|---|
Synth | Salvage Recovery Efficiency | |
Void Beacon, Void Lure | No direct increase, increases Salvage gain by instantly starting the next wave faster | |
V-Device | Salvage Shard, Battle Shard, Compute Shard, Manifest Shard | Using Battle Shard and Manifest Shard for Salvage gain require a link each |
Warp Drive | Materials Improvement | |
Salvage Improvement MK1-7 | Upgrade is Multiplicative | |
Reactor | Boost Salvage | |
Crew | Proficient Salvaging, Coordinated Resource Recovery, Compute Recovery Algorithms | Logistics Manager skill |
Resource Procurement | Reconsititution Specialist skill | |
Core | Resource Refinery |
Scrap[edit | edit source]
Scarp is another way of gaining Salvage. When playing, there will be scrap drops coming from the top of the battlefield. They grant a large amount of Salvage when clicking them or automatically collecting them using the Salvage Auto Collector synth module.
Note: All salvage gain increases apply to scrap as well | |||
---|---|---|---|
System | Type | Note | |
Synth | Salvage Auto Collector | Auto collect Scrap (works offline) | |
Warp Drive | Salvage Scrap Gain MK1 | Upgrade is Additive | |
Salvage Scrap Spawn MK1 | Reduce scrap spawn delay |
Void Matter[edit | edit source]
Void Matter is another basic resource and is used to upgrade compute power, charge the reactor or increase the crew skill multiplier.
Unlike Salvage, the only way to gain Void Matter is by defeating incoming enemies, which has a non-100% chance to drop it. Both the drop chance and drop amount can be increased by completing research, active Energy Voids, and certain crew skills.
The Void Matter drop chance for a specific enemy can be viewed on the Sector Data screen.
Note: Enemies spawned via Carrier or a Capital Ship's Hanger do not drop Void Matter!
Advanced Resources[edit | edit source]
These resources become availiable upon reaching sector 75+ and swapping to a capital ship. They get farmed by fighters upon breaking a ship part of the enemy capital ship, which grants a base amount of that respective resource, multiplied by the fighters efficiency as well as other boosts to advanced resource income or that resource in particular.
Advanced resources are used to upgrade capital cores and to craft capital synth materials.
Pulverium
Pulverium drops when breaking the enemys turret power. It is used to upgrade capital weapons as well as hangar bays.
Fortifium
Fortifium drops when breaking the enemys defensive plating. It is used to upgrade capital shields as well as hangar bays.
Adaptium
Adaptium drops when breaking the enemys hangar bay. It is used to upgrade capital utilities.
